Spring Shore Leave in Warnemuende

In the seaside resort of Warnemuende, the season begins with the so-called “Spring Shore Leave”. An extensive stroll with market stalls and culinary delicacies invites you to take a walk on the promenade. Music and entertainment are part of the program.

Warnemuende Week

Also this year, the visitors of the Warnemuende Week can expect top-class sailing with more than 1,000 active sailors and surfers, who compete off the coast of the seaside resort Warnemuende for world ranking points in all Olympic boat classes. The event kicks off every year with the "Niege Ümgang" – a traditional parade through the historic town centre.

Hanse Sail Rostock

Barges, brigs, schooners and more come to Rostock for one of the world's largest maritime festivals. For four days in August, impressive windjammers, traditional sailing and museum ships are accommodated in the city harbor and in Warnemuende. Highlights of the Hanse Sail are the traditional sailing regatta, fireworks, music and colorful markets.

Bridge Festival in Warnemuende

The Warnemuende Bridge Festival is the event highlight in late summer. Visitors will experience a colorful market at the Alter Strom, a boat parade in the evening and a light show at night.

Rostock Cruise Festival

Cast off! The Rostock Cruise Festival invites you to a maritime weekend in the world of cruising. Right at the passenger quay in Warnemuende, you are very close to the parade when the majestic cruise ships say goodbye to the harbor of the seaside resort to enter the Baltic Sea.
