Horse riding on the Rostock Baltic Sea coast

Experience Rostock and its surroundings from a completely new perspective. On horseback! In the saddle of a horse, the Baltic Sea coast and the associated coastal forest look much more beautiful. The flat trails in the landscape and nature reserves of the Rostock Heath and the Stoltera are particularly relaxing and suitable for beginners. If you are looking for an incomparable experience, ride through the fine sandy beach and the waves of the Baltic Sea.

Whether a day at the stables, horse rides, riding lessons, carriage rides or events around the beautiful animal - no wish remains unfulfilled with our partners.

Horse riding in the Rostock Heath

Get on your horse and get into the saddle. With its meadows and forests, the Rostock Heath offers a magnificent landscape that can be experienced on numerous bridle paths right up to the Baltic Sea. Riding on the white, fine-sand beach at Stolper Ort is permitted all year round on a length of three groyne sections and is one of the highlights of any riding excursion. You are welcome to contact local riding stables or use the forest car parks as a starting point if you are travelling with a horse trailer. Please always stay on the designated bridle paths in the forest (required by law) and show consideration for all other forest visitors.

A map of the bridle paths in the Rostock Heath can be found here.
