Warnow Tunnel
The Warnow Tunnel – the shortcut in Rostock
The 790 metre-long Warnow Tunnel, Germany’s first privately financed road construction project, was opened in 2003. It connects the regions east and west of the Warnow River quickly, advantageously, safety and conveniently. Anyone who takes the Warnow Tunnel gains time, avoids traffic jams, reduces costs as well as kilometres and goes easy on the environment. Use of the Warnow Tunnel is subject to toll fee.
