The HMT is located on one of the most beautiful college buildings in Germany, a former Franciscan monastery from the middle of the 13th century, which has been extended using modern construction methods. With 300 performances each year,

the college enriches cultural life in Rostock. Whether you want to see the summer theatre in the interior courtyard, orchestra, choir or pop concerts, or just wander through the cloisters - a visit to the HMT is always worthwhile.
