With this claim Martin Neumann started the MAENNERHOBBY distillery in May 2016. Everything started with KALAND caraway. Meanwhile more than 50 products belong to the stately portfolio of the small company. But the young company not only has many products at the start - the spirits start-up has also won more than 100 international awards (as of spring 2020) since its foundation. This makes the distillery one of the best in all of northern Germany.

In Klein Kussewitz, a 250-liter spirit bubble and a 600-liter cap distillery, the largest of its kind in Mecklenburg Vorpommern, are operated. Every Thursday at 10.30 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. guided tours of the distillery with subsequent tasting are offered. Free of charge! In addition, you are welcome to drop in at any time during the opening hours for a tasting.

The MAENNERHOBBY distillery likes to use regional raw materials: Sea buckthorn, quinces, currants, aronias...everything comes from the region. Does not always work, but often.
