Kröpelin Gate

The Kröpelin Gate was mentioned in a document for the first time in 1280 and is the most magnificent of the former 22 city & water gates. Today the six-storey gate with a height of 54 metres is a municipal meeting centre and displays an exhibition on the city fortifications in Rostock.

Opening hours: Mar. – Oct., daily from 10 am – 6 pm; Nov. – Feb., daily from 10 am – 5 pm (except on public holidays)

Admission: € 3 per person
