In medieval times Rostock – along with Lübeck and Wismar – was one of the most important Hanseatic towns. The medieval red brick architecture is still part of today´s silhouette of Rostock. You will encounter evidence of the architecture and find out more about the city‘s history and the importance of the urban community of the Hanseatic League.
