Living museums

Evolution becomes an exciting experience in the Darwineum. The heart of the living museum is a huge tropical hall - home to the great apes. Gorillas and orangutans are living here in close proximity and in peaceful coexistence with many other animals. In the Polarium, North and South Poles are only a few meters apart. The expedition begins with the Humboldt penguins. Right next door the realm of the polar bears opens up to you. Eventually you will dive into the ocean worlds to see octopuses, jellyfish and morays.
